Shooting with a Nikon digital SLR and his Sigma 105mm EX DG 1:1 Macro lens the details never escape his eye.

Featuring April Sansen

Cheerios___theme_yellow.jpg

April Sansen, a Club member and enthusiastic amateur Photographer submitted these two photo’s in a recent Club exercise in which the theme was to be “Yellow”. Not only did she integrate the theme “yellow” but also added frosting by integrating it with perhaps the two most popular Photo subjects, our “Kids” and “Pets”.

This exercise was perhaps one of her first shoots with her new “Canon Digital Rebel”. Congratulations April, on your conversion to Digital and your exceptional submissions.

Featuring Les McCracken

McCracken's photo of Retro Suites Hotel

Les McCracken, a member and Past President of the Chatham Camera Club took this shot with a Nikon Coolpix 5700. Proof once again that great shots are not exclusive to SLR cameras.

Located on the King-William-Jahnke block of Downtown Chatham, the Retro Suites Hotel is an amalgam of several historic buildings.

Les’ original Photo now resides in the homes of over 100,000 residents of Chatham-Kent. Congratulations Les!
