Larry Kearns

Larry’s keen eye for composition and his excellent post processing skills have resulted in some of The Club’s most fascinating photos. Last season, Larry was presented with a CAPA Certificate Of Merit for his submission in the Interior Architecture category. His enthusiasm and willingness to share his knowledge make him a valuable and popular member of The Chatham Camera Club.

Cathy is a very talented artist who enjoys water color, ink and pencil art. She is now using her creative ability to expand her photographic skills and has produced some wonderful images.

Butch (Richard) is an enthusiastic and knowledgeable photographer who not only captures nature at its finest moments, but also excels at scenic shots and landscapes. Always willing to share his wonderful places to find great nature photo opportunities, he makes a great companion on photo outings.

As an Executive Assistant, Gavin’s steady approach has brought many fresh ideas to this year’s Club activities. He is well versed in the workings of his Canon 7D and his knowledge shines through in his excellent flower shots.

Bob is always ready to help with Club activities and has organized our annual Christmas Breakfast on many occasions. His other interests include curling and volunteering at Outreach For Hunger. Bob has recently moved up to a Nikon 3100 DSLR and has not missed a single entry in our photo competitions in the past four years.

Diane is a retired school teacher who enjoys walking, card making and helping others by volunteering at the CK Woman’s Centre and VON. Photography is a new hobby that she is rapidly developing and her enthusiasm is reflected in her fine work.


In Memoriam – A Tribute to Steve Hook

Steve Hook was an active and valued member of the Chatham Camera Club until sadly passing away on July 3rd, 2011 at the age of 78. We are remembering our friend and featuring his talents in our Photo In Focus section. He will be greatly missed by all of our members.
