A Very Successful Season shooting opener!
Thanks to all the members that participated in our season opener, with the “Wildflower Shoot” at Sinclair’s Bush and follow-up at McGuigans Greenhouses near Blenheim Ontario this morning! We had about a 400% increase in attendance over last years outing with about 12 to 15 participants. Although we were seeing just the beginning of the Wildflowers there were many opportunities to get shots of the early “Red Trilliums”. The White Trilliums should be out in a few days if the weather stays warm.
My thanks to Rob McGuigan and staff of McGuigan Greenhouses, on Hwy 3 west of Blenheim for allowing us to come and take shots of the many beautiful flowers on display. Thanks Rob!
We have a National Competition Ribbon Winner!
At this Tuesdays meeting we will be reviewing our scores in the latest round of CAPA competition. We will be announcing and presenting one of our members with a winning Ribbon! Drop back on Wednesday to see the winning entry!
