Please be advised that the Annual Christmas Dinner is at the Satellite Restaurant, 145 King St W. on Tuesday, December 11th.
We will meet there at 6:30 and have dinner at 7pm.
Our October 23rd meeting had the St.Thomas Photographic Guild visit as the main feature and they put on a real “tour de force” show. John St. Pierre, president of the St. Thomas club, did a presentation named “Suggestions for Making Better Photographs” with lots of tips for new members as well as the more seasoned ones. After the social coffee break, the St.Thomas Club did a digital presentation of their member’s photographs from various interesting summer assignments. Watching the awesome pictures really showed why the club is thriving so well and why the photographers are so highly regarded for their unusual keen eye as well as their expertise in the photographic field.
A big Thank You to John St. Pierre and all the members of the St. Thomas club for participating in putting on the show.

Come out and see what the Chatham Camera Club is all about.
Our first BBQ at Keith McLean’s farm was a great success with over 25 participants. Hopefully this will be an annual event. We had beautiful sunny weather and lots of opportunities to take photos of the large Lotus ponds (second to none in Canada to my knowledge) and the many flowers.
A huge Thank You goes out to Keith McLean for his generosity in providing his property for our picnic. Also a well deserved Thank You to Martha Gillier for not only arranging for all the food, condiments and snacks, but also for personally grilling all the sausages and burgers on the BBQ. A reminder about the meeting Saturday at 11:00am at the Chatham Chrysler Dealership Boardroom. Please make sure Glen has your photos from the Parrot shoot in his posession before Friday so he can get them onto a CD. Also, if you want to show a few, he will need to know which ones, and get them onto the laptop.
A warm welcome to our 2 new members that participated in Mondays parrot shoot, Larry Broadbent and George Sabitz. Larry is a past member of the Camera Club and has joined the digital revolution. His main interest is in nature and macro photography. George likes to travel.
